VOTE DZIA AS ARTIST OF THE YEAR 2011(and beyond)

No it’s not a coincidence, Street Art Belgium and Graffiti Shop Artifex are handing out an award to the most inspiring and awesome street artist of 2011 at the exact same time when Playboy is voting the new Playmate of the Year! 2011 has been crazy, a bunch of Belgian artists prove theirselves so hard that we truly believe it’s time to support them in their creative schemes. So yes, not yet another give-away to surprise one of our visitors, this price goes to the artists theirselves! And the nominees are.. Well it wasn’t easy, that’s for sure! We drilled down our shortlists to 11 creatives! All you have to do is click the “Recommend” button next to your favorite artist, the artist with the most votes at midnight 2/feb/2012 will receive a cheque with 111 euros. DZIA @ Eastpak Artist Studio "Bread&Butter" Berlin

TODAY, in it’s second edition, Eastpak Artist Studio will present their new collection of limited edition bags at Bread&Butter Berlin. The original designs of 130 artists from 17 countries will be sold at the Eastpak website. All proceeds of the sales of these one-of-a-kind creations will be donated to the Designers Against AIDS (DAA) organization. Among the participants are Johnny Marr of The Smiths, American artist Jordan Betten and French singer Yelle. From Spain, the Barcelona based designer Krizia Robustella, AND DZIA=KRANK

In January 2012, Fiend Projects will take over the Designcenter de Winkelhaak with our art festival.

Throughout the 3 weeks there will be exhibitions, demonstrations, workshops, film showings, artist talks and more, all designed to expose young up and coming artists and to engage the people of Antwerp in an art extravaganza!
